What does it cost for my group to participate?
It's FREE! Due to grant funding from several groups, we are able to offer free space to all history organizations, societies, museums and group are eligible for a free table. However, if your group is able to contribute $25, $50 or $75 to help with additional advertising, you will be listed as a sponsor of the event. Each space comes with 1 6' table, 2 chairs and a listing on our website that is hyperlinked to your site.
What can we bring?
You can bring anything you want to promote your organization and the local history of your community. We only ask that history is the main theme of your table, not your museum store.
Can we ask for donations during the Fair?
Yes, but we ask that any fundraising is kept to a minimum since the purpose of the Fair is to promote local history and educate participants about their community history. Groups that do not follow this guideline will be asked to adjust their table. Please contact us with any questions. But, definitely have your membership information out!
Can we sell stuff ?
Yes! But, we ask that you keep the bulk of your space history-based. Please do not bring food to sell-- we will have a food vendor on-site. If you have a question about specific items, please e-mail us at: email@example.com. The Bedford Historical Society will have a store set up and will be able to accept credit cards. If you wish to sell through the BHS store (all money generated by your items will be paid to you after the event via check), please contact us.
We want to help promote the Fair, what can you help us with?
We have several items such as postcards, pens, sticky notes and stickers to help promote the event. Place your order here!
